Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been published previously and is not being considered by another journal at the same time.
  • The main manuscript has been uploaded in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. Author identifiers and acknowledgements have been removed from the manuscript for double-blind review.
  • All DOI numbers and web addresses in the reference list have been provided as accessible links.
  • The manuscript follows the journal's formatting requirements; figures and tables are placed at appropriate points in the text and include the necessary captions and notes.
  • The article title, Turkish and English abstracts, keywords, author details, ORCID identifiers, and reference list are complete.
  • For studies requiring ethics committee approval, the committee name, approval date, and decision number are stated in the manuscript, and the approval document has been uploaded as a supplementary file.

Author Guidelines

The Journal of the Management and Organization Association accepts original research and review articles in Turkish and English.

 

For submission:

1. Upload the main manuscript as an editable Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) file.

2. Include the article title, Turkish and English abstracts of 150-250 words, and 3-6 keywords.

3. Enter author names, affiliations, email addresses, and ORCID identifiers only in the OJS metadata; remove all identifying information and acknowledgements from the manuscript for double-blind review.

4. Organize the manuscript so that the purpose, method, findings, discussion, conclusion, and references are clearly presented as appropriate. Number figures and tables, place them at suitable points in the text, and provide captions and sources.

5. Prepare in-text citations and the reference list according to APA 7. The reference list should contain only works cited in the manuscript, and DOI numbers and URLs should be provided as accessible links.

6. For research requiring ethics committee approval, state the committee name, approval date, and decision number in the methods section and upload the approval document as a supplementary file. Disclose funding, conflicts of interest, and author contributions.

7. The manuscript must not have been published previously or be under consideration elsewhere. All submissions are screened for similarity using iThenticate.

 

The editorial office may return submissions that do not meet the formatting or ethical requirements before peer review.

Papers

This section accepts original research and review articles in Turkish or English in management and organization, business, economics, educational management, and related social sciences. After editorial screening, submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

Authors confirm that the work is original, does not infringe copyright, and that all permissions required for publication have been obtained. Authors grant the journal the right of first publication and agree that the article will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. This license permits non-commercial sharing and adaptation provided that appropriate credit is given, a link to the license is included, and any changes are indicated.

Privacy Statement

The personal information collected through registration, submission, peer review, and editorial workflows on this journal site—including names, email addresses, affiliations, ORCID identifiers, and similar data—is used solely for scholarly publishing activities, user communication, record integrity, and legal obligations. It is not used for commercial purposes or shared with third parties except where required by law or with service providers necessary to operate the publication workflow. Authorized users may access this information only as required by their roles. Requests concerning personal data may be submitted through the journal's contact address.
